Juventud Faceta at Buzz Café, in the EMU
Come enjoy, dance, food and professional photography and artwork at the 2010 Art Spring Mingle. The opening reception will give community members, students, faculty and artists the opportunity to interact and converse with the guest artists, which include, Devika Bakshi, Isabel Dutroncy, Marina Hajek and Michael Wherley.
Each artist will be giving a short presentation introducing his or her work. In addition to the featured artists there will also be a special display of Haitian artwork, sponsored by the Newman Center and the youth art show organized by Juventud Faceta and Eugene Arte Latino. Following the Spring Mingle Opening Ceremony, the artist’s work will be on display in the Mills International Center, in the Aperture Gallery (Michael Wherley) and in the Buzz Café (Youth Empowerment Project) in the EMU.
