Santa Teresa is an amazing place for diverse culture and art lovers. It is a neighborhood where a nice blend of alternative international culture takes place. This is a place where European, African, and Latin American immigrants mingle in a constant exchange with Brazilians. That diversity creates a unique and lively cultural setting that only Santa Teresa has to offer in the way it offers to visitors. From the “Parque das Ruínas” (Ruins Park) there is a marvelous view point of Downtown Rio. The visitor has a chance to learn about the locals’ history, art, and to appreciate historic buildings and mural paintings, also known as graffiti art, throughout the tour.
