The Musical Tour series offer a particular blend of different Brazilian music styles: Rock, Chorinho, samba, bossa-nova, samba-jazz, and soul, forró, latin jazz with talented musicians that will create the involving atmosphere for all moods and tastes.

Choro is the genre that originated the samba at the end of XIX century.

The Samba & Choro tour may take place at different parts of the city depending on the day of the week.

 

The tour includes a historic component and a stop at a popular "roda de choro". A "Roda de Choro" is a musical gathering where different musicians play and improvise solos in different styles such as: choro sambado, polca, maxixe, Brazilian tango, etc.

 

We can explore a range of local bars and hotspots where this unique genre takes place.

 

Be at Urca charming neighborhood on a Saturday, at the historical neighborhood in Downtown, at a park in Laranjeiras, or at a Fort in Copacabana, enjoying a lively multigenerational music tradition.

 

Saturday: Tour do Choro at Urca, Praia Vermelha, Escola Portátil de música & Praça General Glicério. 

 

Sunday: Tour do Choro at Praça São Salvador and vicinities.
